2014年ジャパン・ツアー、東京2日目となる12月11日は渋谷公会堂でのライブをリマスタリング仕様にてコンプリートしたアイテム。S&Gの名曲群に加え、ソロ作品や多彩なカヴァー・ナンバーを素晴らしいボーカルで聴かせてくれた魅惑のパフォーマンスを、珠玉のサウンドで再現したもので、まず2部構成でのステージは、アート節全開のビリー・ジョエルの「And So It Goes」で幕を開け、2曲目で早くも「The Boxer」が演奏されると会場は割れんばかりの拍手が。その後もS&Gナンバー、ジョビンの「コルコバード」、ランディ・ニューマンの「Real Emotional Girl」などを、日本語通訳を迎えての興味深いトークをまじえながら、ギター伴奏１本で披露。なお途中のトークでも語られている通り、あの「声」はある意味失われてしまったのかもしれない中で、一音一音を丁寧に紡ぎ出すその姿は、シナゴーグで生涯を歌に捧げることを誓った、幼き時代と全く変わることのない生き様を、ひしひしと伝えてくれる感動的なもの。また、エヴァリー・ブラザースのカヴァー・パートから登場するアーサー・ジュニアの歌唱も素晴らしく、「水曜の朝、午前3時」のハイ・トーンは、往年のファンなら感涙必至。またチャップリンの「スマイル」の説得力も彼ならではで、前日よりカヴァー・ナンバー1曲がセット落ちしたものの、この至福の一夜のステージをここに完全再現しています。
