An object born of *wabi-sabi*: a shoemaking iron anvil. Once resting in the corner of a cobbler’s workshop, this iron form endured daily hammer blows while supporting the shapes of countless shoes. Having fulfilled its original purpose, this "lump of iron" has slowly weathered over the years?rusting and wearing down?to be reborn as a singular, dignified object embodying a *wabi-sabi* aesthetic that no artist could intentionally create.(1)劣化については画像・動画をご確認ください。 (1) Please check the images and videos regarding deterioration.(2) The first image is an AI-generated image.(3) Please contact us if you have any questions.(4) The items we handle are extremely old. While we clean, repair, and repaint them after receiving them, no item is perfect. These items are not suitable for those seeking new items or those who are overly particular. We would appreciate it if only those who appreciate the value of "wabi-sabi" and "old folk art" would purchase them.
