This jar is a typical Qing Dynasty mid-period jihong-glazed vessel, with a stout form, short neck, broad shoulder, and rounded body. Covered in vibrant jihong glaze with subtle orange-peel texture, the rim and foot reveal creamy off-white porcelain body. The interior is glazed white, with underglaze blue double rings on the base. No mark. Craftsmanship is refined, with glossy surface, characteristic of imperial kilns. A fine example of monochrome glaze ware.
