中国清代の堆朱漆器で、円形の蓋付き箱。全体に赤漆を用いた堆高彫で牡丹や葉脈の文様が施され、蓋面中央に大きな牡丹、周囲に小花と葉が配されている。側面も連続する花枝文様。内側は黒漆仕上げ、底面は無款。漆の厚みと彫刻の精緻さから、清時代の宮廷様式に近い工芸品と推測される。

A Chinese Qing Dynasty red lacquer box with carved floral decoration. Round lidded form, intricately carved with peony and leaf motifs using the cinnabar pile technique. Central large peony on lid surrounded by smaller flowers and foliage; continuous floral pattern on sides. Interior black lacquered, base plain without mark. Well-preserved with minor wear, typical of high-quality imperial-style lacquerware.
